Ayra Starr has been one of the most exciting voices to come out of the Afrobeats wave, and here she pulls Giveon into her orbit for something genuinely warm and cinematic. His baritone anchors the emotion while she floats above it, both of them committed to the premise. The production bridges Afro-soul and Western R&B without trying to split the difference.
