Don Toliver's been building toward a moment like "BANDIT" for a while. The production is maximal and cinematic, layered synths and a hard-hitting low end that leans into the Houston psychedelia he's always been rooted in. His voice floats over it instead of anchoring down, and that contrast is the whole ballgame. One of his better recent singles.
