"Com Amor Bahia," featuring Brazilian singer Luedji Luna, is from his Com Amor Brazil EP, a project where he crossed the Atlantic musically and came back with something that sounds like it belongs to both places equally. Luedji Luna is from Bahia, Brazil, and her voice carries that geographic and cultural rootedness. The pairing with Juls is not obvious, but it works precisely because both artists understand rhythm as a foundation rather than a garnish. The production is spare enough to give Luna room, and the result is a track that operates more as a conversation between two traditions than as a fusion of them.
