Kashus Culpepper writes with the detail of someone who's been through it and came out the other side with a notebook full of receipts. 'Pour Me Out' is built on understated acoustic production that lets the lyric carry the weight. He doesn't overcook it, which is the whole strategy. Keep an ear on his catalog.
