"nobody (make me feel)" is an Oslo-to-El Paso collaboration: oskar med k is a Norwegian producer, and Khalid is from El Paso, Texas, by way of a military family background that moved him to Fort Bliss at 17. They should not obviously work together on paper, but the track lands because Khalid has always been better at restraint than his mainstream profile suggests, and oskar med k's production gives him the right amount of space to be exactly that. The song arrived in September 2025 and plugged into Khalid's After the Sun Goes Down campaign. Khalid has been one of the more careful builders of a pop career in the past decade: the debut was enormous, the subsequent projects have been more selective, and "nobody (make me feel)" is him choosing a collaboration that serves the writing rather than the moment. The hook lands because it earns it. Both artists know when to stop adding and let the core of the song be heard. That is rarer than it looks.
