ScHoolboy Q hasn't lost a step. Germany 86' is understated Q, no fireworks, just a grounded, fully-formed rap record that rewards patience. The production is dusty and cinematic, and his cadence shifts throughout in ways that keep you locked in. Blue Lips deserved more attention than it got.
