Smino is one of those artists who makes jazz-inflected rap feel completely effortless, and 'Ready Set Goku' keeps that streak intact. The reference is a flex and a joke at the same time, which is peak Smino. Melodic pocket, bouncy rhythm section, verses that reward repeat listens. Right up your alley if you've been following his trajectory from blkswn forward.
