Tobiahs operates in that sweet spot between soul and contemporary R&B, and 'Angel of Mine' is a clean example of why he's one to watch. The production is understated, built around a guitar loop and a rhythm section that knows when to stay out of the way. The vocal performance is controlled and genuine. Right up your alley if you're in a Leon Bridges mood.
