Certain features of the Service require a paid membership. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable subscription rate. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@beforethedata.com.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error has occurred.
All content on the Service, including editorial copy, artist curation, design, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Before The Data. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Music embedded or referenced on the Service belongs to the respective artists and rights holders. We do not claim ownership of any third-party music content.
The Service integrates with and links to third-party platforms including Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party platform content or policies.
We use the TikTok for Developers API to discover and track emerging artists for editorial purposes. Our use of TikTok data is strictly for music discovery and artist evaluation, not for consumer data collection or advertising targeting.

By submitting music or artist materials through our submission form, you grant Before The Data a non-exclusive license to review and evaluate your submission for potential editorial coverage. Submission does not guarantee coverage or response. We are not responsible for unsolicited materials.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Before The Data shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
